So who are you Chris Baker and why are you on my radio station?
Let me give you the basics:
I am an independent conservative with 3 small children and a wife who I love more than anything I could have ever imagined.
I see politicians as nothing more than puppets and gangsters and that is regardless of party.
I believe in the concept of the individual. We are all individuals to start and we join groups as we grow but it is the concept and acknowledgment that we are individuals that is supposed to keep us on the right path. When our group goes down the wrong path then it is up to us as individuals to make a decision as an individual to leave the group and walk a path of righteousness.
I believe in killing terrorists before they kill someone I love.
I believe that illegal immigration will destroy this country and that supporters of illegal immigration have no argument, they can't honestly debate because their entire position is based on a lie.
Global warming is a scam. Anyone who thinks that we can control nature is delusional.
Talk radio is my job and my dream come true. Talk radio is one of many entertainment mediums. It's the most important entertainment medium because it is the only real time, interactive medium where politicians are held accountable for their actions. It's the only medium where the people who really make America work (you) gather to exchange ideas and opinions. Where they find out they are not alone in their beliefs, get some information and have a laugh at themselves and their neighbors. It's where true free speech is exercised on a daily basis.
Seth Rogan stars and co writes the updated version of the old radio classic; “The Green Hornet” and really knocked it out of the Park. There’s nothing like “ultra rich crime fighters” (Batman is D Trump in tights) who have the money to build every crime fighting gizmo you could dream up.
Rogan play’s Britt Reid, the spoiled son of a media mogul (Tom Wilkinson) who owns the only non-corporate newspaper in Los Angeles. A trust fund baby with money to burn and too much time on his hands that also enjoys bringing beautiful women home to test the seats throughout his father’s car collection.
Rogan brings to life an obnoxious, selfish, spoiled brat who is obviously searching for his own relevance after his father’s sudden death. Running the paper isn’t his destiny and he knows it. Soon an inferior cup of morning coffee puts Britt Reid on a path to redemption and the fun begins.
Like any “buddy picture” you have the standard “worlds collide” this time the wealthy party boy meets up with the mystic Asian genius, karate master, immigrant who was taken in by Britt’s Dad.
Sometimes when somebody takes a classic like the “Green Hornet” and brings it to the screen it’s usually some shaved chest pin up boy who scowls through a weak script, surrounded by explosions and special effects. Hornet is none of that, the movie blast out of the gate and never looks back. Seth Rogan as the Hornet and Jay Chou as Kato really make a great pair who should easily win the hearts of the diehard comic fans.
All in all Hornet has about 5 or so cuss words kind of early but other than that a clean fun entertaining movie that I give **** stars.
Oh yes, the car really rocks. Really, really rocks.
