Here are some websites that can serve as a great place to get started with an online job search.

One of the oldest and biggest job sites on the web is Monster.com.  They'll let you upload a resume, search for jobs in any area of the country, including the Twin Cities, and they even have a special section devoted to jobs being created by the stimulus plan.

Have you thought about social networking for grownups?  Linkedin.com is a professional networking site that can connect you with others in your profession or those you know outside your area of expertise.  It's great for networking and can expose your work history and recommendations to an all new audience of professionals.

Career Builder is another huge site that is a popular stop online for job seekers and employers.  They have tips for networking, building a professional resume and targeting your job search in just the right way to find that next great career.

The state of Minnesota's Department of Employment and Economic Development maintains a number of resources for jobs right here in the Northstar State.

President Obama has said there will be hundreds of thousands of jobs, or more, created as a result of his economic stimulus plan.  Recovery.gov is the official main site the White House established for the stimulus plan.  There you can find details on the plan and links to other government sites where opportunities like grantsloansbenefits and business opportunites are detailed.
